"Ben was recommended by a colleague of my wife. From the outset I found him to be totally reliable and a man who I found it extremely easy to do business with. Unlike many tradesmen I have contacted whilst doing a house up Ben arrived to look at the job when he said he would and then quickly provided a detailed quote. Being a building job, replacing the roof of my garage which is a converted farm building, Ben brought his friend, Luke who is a builder and with whom he intended to do the work. Both men were more than happy to discuss the job and answer a number of queries I had. After being given the job Ben provided regular updates regarding the start date as well as finalising exactly what was required.Despite horrendous weather they arrived as planned on the first day and completed a 9 hour day in torrential rain. This work ethic was maintained throughout the job.Each and every day the site was left clean and tidy, which whilst not essential to me, clearly showed the pride and professionalism of both Ben and Luke.The joinery required to replace the wooden beams and structure in the garage was completed with a great deal of pride by Ben, who replicated the original joints that had been constructed 80 years ago in order to maintain the internal aesthetic appearance.I am extremely pleased with the final product, which has attracted many complimentary comments from family and passers by.In short Ben is an reliable, honest man who would have no hesitation to recommend to anyone.I would also be happy for anyone to view the work completed on garage."
